Obama is growing a garden in the White House lawn, the first since WWII to be precise. Guess if he makes it look cool enough his starving ‘Yes We Can!’ toddies will go plant a garden rather than burning him at the stake. Mean while a bill in the making is going to make you register your self with the government so they can come in and check and make sure you are not poisoning your self with the food you grow. You know since the FDA does such a good job allowing healthy GMO foods to be consumed with no testing. Read the bill and notice that in the definitions they never equate an “establishment” to somewhere you buy food at. Its all if you are producing raw produce or animals for “consumption”. You need to register your self so the government can come spy on you. If you break one of these laws or don’t register, guess what your punishment will be… (Dr. Evil Voice) ONE MILLION DOLLARS A DAY! Maybe that won’t be so bad when a loaf of bread costs a billion like in Zimbabwe hah. Thank you government for protecting me because I must be mentally ill for not wanting to eat GMO and Pesticides.

(5) CATEGORY 1 FOOD ESTABLISHMENT- The term ‘category 1 food establishment’ means a food establishment (other than a seafood processing establishment) that slaughters, for the purpose of producing food, animals that are not subject to inspection under the Federal Meat Inspection Act or poultry that are not subject to inspection under the Poultry Products Inspection Act.
7) CATEGORY 3 FOOD ESTABLISHMENT- The term ‘category 3 food establishment’ means a food establishment (other than a category 1 or category 2 establishment) that processes cooked, pasteurized, or otherwise ready-to-eat seafood or other animal products, fresh produce in ready-to-eat raw form, or other products that pose a risk of hazardous contamination.
(2) ensure that persons who produce, process, or distribute food meet their responsibility to prevent or minimize food safety hazards related to their products.
What They Can Do:
(5) implement a statistically valid sampling program (With out search warrant?)
(4) establish and enforce science-based standards for–
(A) potentially hazardous substances that may contaminate food; and (vague wording)
(B) safety and sanitation in the processing and handling of food; (even though the let mexico send us tomato, spinach, peppers, etc, etc, etc that they spray raw sewage on)
(A) IN GENERAL- Any person that commits an act that violates the food safety law (including a regulation promulgated or order issued under the food safety law) may be assessed a civil penalty by the Administrator of not more than $1,000,000 for each such act. (Who wrote this crap? Dr Evil?)
(B) SEPARATE OFFENSE- Each act described in subparagraph (A) and each day during which that act continues shall be considered a separate offense.
